What I’m loving my top tips
I haven’t done one of these in a while and there is so much I’m loving at the moment.
Here goes…
What I’m reading…
RESET by Dan Heath has been a fascinating read exploring how organisations improve their systems. However, the book also explores how we can improve any “system” in our life including our family system and our relationships. There have been some really actionable takeaways. They discuss the benefit of finding the biggest leverage points that can offer maximum positive change with minimum effort. They also look at what they call “restacking resources”, looking at your life or work and re-jigging where you are putting your energy.
For example, try this exercise. Get a piece of paper and split it into four quadrants. Name the quadrants STOP, START, MORE, LESS and spend 10 mins brainstorming what you need to stop, start, do more of and less of in order to RESET and bring yourself into greater alignment with how you want to be working or living. Try it out!
What I’m listening to…
I missed Womad this year, but I’m exploring new music through the WOMADELAIDE 2025 playlist on spotify. I’m also having fun creating my own AI spotify playlists. I recently discovered a stunning Brazilian Jazz Singer Gretchen Parlato. Highly recommend a listen if Brazilian music is your thing.
What I’m cooking…
Recently I went to a wonderful event run by my new friends over at @cookbookclub on insta. What a refreshing, fun, experience. Basically, the two hosts choose a cookbook and cook you and 8-10 other strangers an indulgent meal. It’s a room full of foodies and within a few minutes these strangers had turned into new friends! A total win and I got really inspired to cook again. The cookbook of the month was Hetty Mckinnon’s Neighbourhood – which I love. If you end up there say I sent you!
This orange blossom, cardamom cake was unexpectedly delicious and I can’t wait to bake it!
If you’re feeling fearful about the future and A.I and you’d love to step forward and face your fears and learn more about how you can use A.I to amplify your own effectiveness at work and in life – I highly recommend my friend Amantha’s A.I accelerator program. I am part of it and couldn’t recommend it enough.

"If we wish to be healthy, happy and clear-minded, we need to upgrade our “inner technology”of attention to meet the demands of our increasingly complex world. That's where mindfulness comes in.."
