The Happiness Plan Group Experience: Day One
Welcome to #thehappinessplan group experience!
For the next month, we’re going to be walking you through daily practices online. Each practice is taken from The Happiness Plan mindfulness guidebook. (If you want to get the most out of this next month, you can purchase the book here or here.)
If you don’t have the book, all you need to do is follow along with the daily practices we’ll be publishing on Instagram. Feel free to join our closedFacebook group too, as we will be having chats there to see how you’re doing.
And don’t forget, you can access my FREE guided meditations here to accompany your daily practice.
The commitment to meditation is only 10 minutes per day. This is achievable for even the busiest among us!
On some days, we’ll also offer you a theme for the day to reflect on. It might be something like how your relationship with technology is negatively impacting your life, or how you can boost your positive emotions. Look out for these instructions, which go live at 7 a.m. each day but can be found under #thehappinessplan hashtag any time.
The Happiness Plan Group Experience Daily Photo Challenges
These daily photo prompts will inspire you to connect with the community each day, and it’s always good fun!
This is today’s prompt:
Share a photo of your pet if you have one – or an animal pic of some kind. A famous ancient meditation metaphor likens training the mind to training a puppy. When you meditate, imagine your mind is a pup full of energy, who needs patience and love to learn how to be a good doggo. On day one, they’ll probably be chewing the bed and getting up to all kinds of mischief! Use the hashtag #thehappinessplan to share your picture with our community!
(Have you ever seen the Three Cheeky Whippets video?)
Lastly, if you want to set intentions for the following month, we’ve created this FREE Intention Guide to help you do that.
Enjoy the next month of the Happiness Plan Group Experience! If you have any questions, feel free to connect with us on Instagram @mindfulinmay!
"If we wish to be healthy, happy and clear-minded, we need to upgrade our “inner technology”of attention to meet the demands of our increasingly complex world. That's where mindfulness comes in.."
